The above bar graph is based on enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) assessments of seven plasma cytokines (IFN-γ, IL-1b/IL-1F2, IL-2, IL-4, IL-17, IL-6 and TNF-α). IL-4 (a), TNF-α (b) and IFN-γ (c) were significantly increased (P < 0.05) in the SCFS group in comparison to the MCFS and non-fatigued controls.
